PHILIPPINE REEF AND RAINFOREST CONSERVATION FOUNDATION, INC

PRRCFI was founded in 1994 by a group of divers who felt that after damaging and unsustainable fishing began around the reefs of Danjugan Island, the island needed to be saved and conserved. Now that three sanctuaries and a marine reserve surround the island, it has emerged as one of the leading ecotourism destinations, adhering to a low-impact, low-volume, high-quality, and high-value tourism model to preserve its pristine natural state.
