ABRE LINEA INCORPORATED
Abre Linea is a social enterprise fusing modern design with traditional handicrafts & local materials, benefiting weaving communities and artisans in Leyte & Samar. Abre, “open” in Waray, is an open response providing sustainable forms of livelihood rooted in the craft-making traditions of Region 8. Products are carefully handcrafted by artisans who skillfully coax the gifts of indigenous raw materials. In recent years, Abre worked with artisans of the 3rd Dist. of Leyte to develop an initial product line connecting them to local and national gov’t development & sustainable growth networks. All proceeds of Abre Linea sales are funneled back to the weaving communities and artisans involved.
